Inspiration can be transferred it is contagious to find artists works that inspire, such is this painting for me. Inspired after viewing Monet's waterlilies at the MoMA in NYC; the depth of color moved me to create a landscape with only these two colors.

Blue and green have always been near to my heart, but the feeling was overwhelming when I once again saw Monet's paintings. This is my landscape created entirely from my imagination, although I have traveled, landscapes provide a range of available styles that I enjoy from abstract to expressionistic this work for me is an expression of passion for bold colors the use of basically two colors and the expression of movement and feeling that this work encapsulates for me.
