Abstract Expressionism
Music inspires when I paint; I usually dance with my paintbrush and continue the process of painting while singing and finding the rhythm that brings happiness to my brushes and pallet knife. While painting this work I was listening to songstress, Laufey, a young new artist her lyrics inspire my creativity. I enjoy bold colors and layering my paintings with mixed mediums. This work Night Light, brings nature from clouds to a sunset with movement of an expressionistic water scene; hints of greens and reds soften the scenic landscape.
